Team building workshops 


Did you know that team work in the workplace can simulate creativity, engagement and innovation, yet it remains one of those commonly under-utilised tools; in fact 39% of surveyed employees believe that people in their own organisation don’t collaborate enough. 


 It is fundamental to create a 'safe space' where everybody, (the boss, employees and customers) are kept happy; after all, they are brand ambassadors and when they are happy, the customers will be better engaged and service will be more efficient; and the boss will be kept happy as business flourishes!


So the question is, how do you keep your staff happy and engaged? 

Well with our interactive workshops we can build on the internal relationships which will have a positive impact on the working ethos and mentality of the team and ultiamtely develop great results for the business.


Please find below an idea of a half day team building workshop: 





9.00am -9.30am



  • On arrival there will be a short activity for them to do in small groups (quiz) 
  • Introduction: who I am and why I am there and a short overview of what the day will entail. 

9.30am - 10am

Ice breaker (Toilet Talk) 

  • Have everyone sat round in a circle 
  • Pass round a roll of toilet paper
  • Everyone tears off some toilet paper
  • Then for each number of squares torn off, that person has to tell the rest of the group a fact about themselves. 

10am - 10.45am

Team Focus (Garage Band)

  • Split the group into smaller groups
  • Each group is given a song 
  • They have half an hour to create a “performance” of the song, using only sounds made with their bodies. 
  • The other groups then have to guess the song
  • To make it funnier, dressing up can be supplied to each group, to really get everyone into the spirit! 

10.45am - 11.00am



11.00am- 11.15am

Focus Activity - the importance of eye contact!  (Heads up, heads down)

  • Everyone in a circle
  • Everyone looks to the ground on the first click 
  • Everyone looks up at the second click 
  • If anyone is making eye contact they are out 

11.15am - 11.45am

Theoretical Team Building 

  • Working in small groups 
  • Open discussion “what makes a good team” 
  • Discuss Consensus Decision Making 
  • Individual Worksheets to take away 

11.45am - 12.00noon

Non-verbal communication 

  • Split into two teams
  • Using other forms of communication (other than speech) the group have to get into different ascending orders.
  • for instance birthdays (date and month) or ages.

12.00noon - 12.30pm



12.30pm - 12.45pm

Quiz answers 

- Answers from the morning quiz given and prize received

12.45pm - 13.00pm 

Wrap up 

- Closing comments and final questions
